Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Walton Voices. We welcome new members throughout the year. We perform three major concerts a year and several smaller events for local and national charities. We are under the direction of Jonathan Kilhams who has brought our community aspect to the fore and we regularly find ourselves doing workshops with schools, singing in nursing homes and being a choir for the community.
Walton Voices are proud to welcome singers from all backgrounds regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, relationship status, disability, religious beliefs or financial standing. We don't have a formal audition procedure, all we ask is that you have a love for singing and give us a go.
Our rehearsals normally take place on Wednesday evenings 8pm-10pm at Bell Farm Primary School, Hersham Road, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames .All details about joining can be found by clicking on Join Us.

Walton Voices ended the Easter term on a real high, delivering a triumphant performance of Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Zadok the priest alongside works by Clive Osgood, and Parry. For many singers it was their first time tackling such demanding repertoire, yet the choir rose to the challenge with commitment, determination and a wonderful sense of shared purpose. The result was a performance we can all be proud of—musically vibrant, emotionally charged and a true celebration of what a supportive, ambitious community choir can achieve together. We were also delighted to raise £1,207.50 for Walton Charity, adding an extra note of joy to an already memorable evening.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to welcome new singers to join us for our summer term starting on Wednesday 15th April. Whether you’re an experienced choral singer or completely new to group singing, Walton Voices offers a friendly, encouraging environment where you can grow your skills, meet great people and enjoy making music each week. This term’s programme is uplifting, accessible and full of variety—perfect for anyone thinking of giving choir life a try.
Come and sing with us. You might surprise yourself with what’s possible!
