Thank you for your interest in Walton Voices. We welcome new members throughout the year. We perform three major concerts a year and several smaller events for local and national charities. We are under the direction of Jonathan Kilhams who has brought our community aspect to the fore and we regularly find ourselves doing workshops with schools, singing in nursing homes and being a choir for the community.
Walton Voices are proud to welcome singers from all backgrounds regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, relationship status, disability, religious beliefs or financial standing. We don't have a formal audition procedure, all we ask is that you have a love for singing and give us a go.
Our rehearsals normally take place on Wednesday evenings 8pm-10pm at Bell Farm Primary School, Hersham Road, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames .All details about joining can be found by clicking on Join Us.

Fresh from our sell‑out performance of The Armed Man, we invite you to a thrilling spring concert built around one of the Baroque’s most electrifying masterpieces: Handel’s Dixit Dominus. Written when Handel was just 22, this dazzling work bursts with fiery choral writing, virtuosic solos and unstoppable rhythmic drive — a dramatic, operatic tour de force that shows the young composer at his boldest.
Alongside it, experience a striking modern counterpart: a brand‑new Dixit Dominus by Clive Osgood. Energetic, lyrical and instantly engaging, Osgood’s setting offers a fresh, contemporary reflection on the same ancient text.
We open with pure musical royalty — Handel’s iconic Zadok the Priest, whose slow‑burning introduction and explosive choral entry have crowned every British monarch since 1727. And to close, the glorious sweep of Parry’s I Was Glad, a triumphant anthem guaranteed to send you out uplifted.
A vibrant mix of beloved classics and exciting new music, this is choral singing at its most exhilarating.
Join us for an afternoon that promises power, beauty and plenty of spine‑tingling moments.
